EVcharge is a multi-platform mobile application that enables customers to manage electric vehicle charging points. With EVcharge, users can locate the charging points nearest to them and access information regarding the different charging points. The app also allows users to activate and initiate a charging process, providing a graphic representation of the charging process in real-time.

Identifying and Registering Users

Users of the EVcharge app are required to identify and/or register themselves on the application. This process is personalized to ensure that every user’s charging preferences and requirements are appropriately catered for.

Locating Charging Points

One of the most critical features of EVcharge is its inbuilt map feature. The map showcases the location of both the user and all available charging points close by, allowing for more efficient navigation to the charging locations.

Selecting Charging Points

Upon successful identification, users can choose the most convenient charging point from a list. The selected charging point will then indicate the charging process and the steps required to initiate the process successfully.

Charging Process and Status

Once the charging process commences, EVcharge app provides users with real-time updates on the charging status. The app shows the number of Wh (watts per hour) drawn and the time used during the charging process.

Ending the Charging Process

Finally, once the charging process is successful, users can end the process and disconnect the vehicle. The app will provide a comprehensive list of all completed charging processes, including the date, time, and duration of each charging session.
